Lebron Jame's First Championship?
The Miami Heat recently signed Lebron James and Chris Bosh and held on to Dwayne Wade. They are hoping to compete with the best teams in the NBA. It would be hard to deny the chances they can win a championship this year.
Also with the recent signings of Mike Miller, and Zydrunas Ilgauskas they are also becoming a monopoly snatching the best players on the market to come to their team.
All Stars Playing Together
This is a recent trend in the NBA. Recently the "Big 3" was formed in Boston of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and KevinGarnett. We could also see much of the same with the Lakers, with the signings of Pau Gasol and Ron Artest. Both of these deals by the Celtics and the Lakers have helped these team achieve championships.
Is Lebron A Trader?
One can not blame Lebron James for signing with the Heat. It could be compared to Kevin Garnett when he went to the Celtics in 2007, they also won a championship that year. Lebron was once called a home town hero to the Cleveland Cavilers now he has become the city's biggest enemy's much of a trader in a way.
Lebron James wants to win a championship, with his signing to the Heat, it looks like he is on his way to getting won for the first time. We will have to wait until the regular season starts. But, this season looks like one of the biggest if not the biggest of all time for the Miami Heat.

Can't wait to see the heat play against the lakers, celtics, magic, and cavs this year. Should make for some exciting games! However, since they practically everyone on the team is new I don't forsee them winning a championship this year. I think it will take at least a year before they become fully integrated and defining each players role.

He is going to a team with a lot of talent, but there are still many holes to fill on the roster before even James, Wade and Bosh can compete for an NBA title. Miller and Ilgauskas were good acquisitions, as was signing Udonis Haslem, but sometimes it seems fans forget that the Lakers and Celtics are far more than their "big three"--they are strong, deep teams with skill and depth at every position. I look forward to watching the Miami Heat play this year, but there is much to do between now and the start of the NBA season.
It will be fun to watch, though.
